The Beatles

The Beatles are one of my favourite bands of all time! Their music and sound is so inspirational and is nothing like some of the trashy music of today. The Beatles had everything sorted out, they saw what the world was really like and wrote songs that were so honest and meaningful. They could say something so powerful in just one song. My Uncle and Mum have always been massive fans of The Beatles so I really grew up in a Beatles household-and I'm glad I did. The Beatles are AMAZING!!!

The Beatles really opened up a new era of music. Overall I believe The Beatles have changed the world-I know those are strong words, but I truly believe they have, and definitely changed it for the better:) My Mum always tells her friends I was born way too late. She says this because I am into a lot of old things-eg. clothes, music, tech- and I'm quite hippyish. I reckon It would have been great to have been born in the hippy revolution-when everything was simply about love, friends, peace and music. Luckily for me, my life already has those 4 things in it:)

Glasses and Red Licorice

So I've had glasses since grade 8, I just never wear them which is really bad because my eyesight will just get "worser and worser" *wink* I always new I was going to be visionally disabled as my mum wears contacts and my dad has glasses, so I really had no chance! Its weird that I don't wear my glasses though, because I'm always wearing my Ray Ban and John Lennon sunnies:) But I suppose thats because they are EPIC compared to my slightly less epic long distance glasses...

Nevertheless, I shall eventually get to the point where I am partially blind and then realize I should be wearing them more frequently. At that point I shall put on my spectacles and sing "I can see clearly now I put my glasses on"-to the the tune of "I can see clearly now the rain is gone":)
yes, I'm that cool.
Anyway I'm having hashies and red licorice for breakfast (very nutritious I know) so toodle pip

L-O-V-E! I love you and you love me!

Ahhhhhhh Love. Such a wonderful topic! When everyones heart flutters as soon as that certain individual gives you a shy glance from across the room. Yes, we've all been there. Some people believe love is the most important journey in which we take. "God gave us two eyes, two arms, two legs, but only one heart, so we could find the other."

Being a teenager though no one seems to take love seriously. In fact at my school, everyone seems to put bets on "couples" for how long they will last. Is this really what its come to? Putting labels on other peoples relationships? It really isn't any of our business to begin with!

I'm kind of strong minded about this topic because its happening to one of my guy friends at the moment. Unfortunately his other friend isn't helping, and my friend is too proud to say its bothering him. I don't know what to do because I know its hurting him, but I don't want to screw everything up. So instead of actually interfering, I've let him come to me whenever he wants to talk about it, therefor we can discuss the issues and try to resolve them. In doing this he knows I care.

I do have my crushes, but thats all they really are. I like being single and just having friends, because we have the rest of our lives to have relationships. I'm happy when other people are happy so if people are in relationships and are happy-so am I. If the get "broken hearted" I will support them. You win some you lose some. Relationships come and go, but true friends remain true. Love is a beautiful thing, and everyone in the world deserves to be loved.

Be yourself!

Its ok to be different. It makes everyone unique. If everyone was the same it would be a very boring world. I personally love meeting new people, because I love to talk to them and find out what they like and dislike and what's interesting about them. Two days ago I went with my best friend to this meeting about her going to Jordan, as her, her sister and 3 other boys were chosen to represent Australia.

We had never met the boys before and we didn't know what to expect, but whenever I get to meet new people I see it as an opportunity to make new friends. The guys we met were very cool! One was in grade 10 and he was a composer who had never learnt how to play piano, but his compositions blew me away! The one in grade 9 was quite quiet, but he was an amazing tap dancer-which makes him instantly cool! The third boy was in grade 8 (I know what your thinking-grade eight like eww) but he was really funny so I got along with him quite well too!

I love the way I am. The uniqueness that is me, Stefanie. I love how everyone has the power to be different and have there own opinion. I am quite stubborn which is one of my bad points, but now that I have accepted that I am naturally stubborn I can control it, and focus on more of my good points. I have a creative mind, I believe, which helps me with what I'm good at.

Last night someone complimented me one being good at music, and I usually don't take compliments very well, but I just said thanks, because I realized everyones good at different things, so its ok. This boy then went on to say that he could not do any type of music at all, but I believe everyone has music within them, they just have to find the right instrument.

Overall, I love talking to people, and taking interests in what they say. Everyone has a different story to tell, so next time you meet someone, take the time to listen to there tale. I bet its like none you've ever heard before.
